WhatsApp integration on the official Meta Cloud API
Majlis CRM connects to WhatsApp through Meta’s official Cloud API, with no third-party gateway. Connect the company number or give every agent their own, in a few clicks through Meta’s own sign-up window. Every chat lands in the CRM next to the lead, and the WhatsApp Business app on the phone keeps working.

What the WhatsApp integration does
- Connects through Meta’s Embedded Signup, with no tokens to copy
- A number per agent, or one company number the team shares
- Keeps the WhatsApp Business app working on the phone
- Brings in chat history once, when the number is connected
- Template messages, sent to one person or up to 2,000 at once
- Reply drafts, translation and voice note transcripts from the AI assistant
How to connect WhatsApp
- 1
Open WhatsApp settings
A founder opens Settings > WhatsApp and clicks Connect WhatsApp. An agent connecting their own number opens Settings > My WhatsApp number > Connect my WhatsApp.
- 2
Sign in with Meta
Meta’s own window opens. Choose or create the business account and confirm the number.
- 3
Send a test message
The setup checklist ticks Receiving messages as soon as a message arrives, so you know the number is live.
Their own number, or the company’s
Each agent can connect their own number or work from the company number, chosen per agent under Role & permissions. An agent on their own number sees only that number’s chats. Founders and admins see every conversation, so nothing is lost when someone is off or moves on. More on this on the WhatsApp CRM page.
AI inside every chat
The assistant reads each conversation and prepares a reply draft, the customer’s details and suggested follow-ups or appointments for the agent to accept. It can translate messages both ways and turns voice notes into text. It never sends anything to a customer on its own.
What WhatsApp costs
Majlis CRM adds nothing on top of Meta’s charges and never handles the money. Meta bills your WhatsApp Business account directly, per delivered template message, at rates that depend on the message category and the recipient’s country. Normal replies inside the 24-hour customer service window are free.

Brokerages running on Majlis
With my previous CRM, I had no clear visibility into what my agents were doing. With Majlis, every agent has their WhatsApp connected, I get detailed analytics on all their activity, and our speed to lead has gone up.

We guide investors between Dubai and Amsterdam, so follow-up is everything, and I hate setting up follow-ups and reminders. Majlis takes care of all of that for me. Every time I add a new property, it tells me exactly which investor to reach out to.

WhatsApp integration questions
Is this the official WhatsApp API?
Yes. Majlis connects through Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API, with no unofficial gateway in between.
Can we keep using the WhatsApp Business app?
Yes. A number already on the WhatsApp Business app can be connected and keeps working on the phone.
Can every agent have their own number?
Yes. Each agent can connect their own number, or work from the company number. A founder chooses which for each agent.
Do old chats come across?
Meta allows one history import, within 24 hours of connecting a number that was already on the WhatsApp Business app.
Does every chat become a contact?
No. A new chat stays a chat until an agent clicks Convert to Contact or gives it a lead, so your contact list stays clean.
Does Majlis charge per message?
No. Meta bills your WhatsApp account directly and Majlis adds nothing on top.
