ManyChat integration: Instagram leads straight into your CRM
Majlis CRM connects to ManyChat through an incoming webhook. When someone comments on a reel, replies to a story or sends your account a DM, your ManyChat flow asks for their details and sends them to Majlis. A lead appears in the pipeline and stage you chose, with an owner, a source and the answers they gave.

What the ManyChat integration does
- Turns a ManyChat conversation into a contact and a lead in Majlis
- Puts the lead in the pipeline and stage you choose, with source Instagram, Facebook or another you pick
- Assigns it to one agent, the General Pool or your lead rotation
- Fills budget, preferred areas, property type, bedrooms and timeline from the answers in the flow
- Adds any other answer to the lead’s notes, so nothing the client said is lost
- Matches people already in Majlis by phone or email, so you do not get a second contact
How to connect ManyChat to Majlis CRM

Create the webhook in Majlis
A founder opens Settings > ManyChat and clicks Connect ManyChat. Under Fields, pick what the flow will send (always Phone or Email), then choose the Pipeline, Stage and Assign to, and click Create webhook.

Ask for the details in ManyChat
Instagram does not share a phone number on its own. In your ManyChat flow, ask for it with a question that saves the reply to the contact’s Phone field, and ask anything else you want on the lead, such as budget or area.

Add an External Request
After the questions, add an Action, then External Request. Set the request type to POST and paste the Endpoint URL from the webhook card in Majlis.

Add the secret and the body
Under Headers, add x-webhook-secret with the Secret from the card. Under Body, paste the payload Majlis showed you and fill each value with ManyChat’s own field, such as First Name and Phone.

Test it
Run the flow on your own account. The lead appears in Majlis, and the webhook card’s Delivery logs show what arrived or why something was refused.
Why Instagram leads need a CRM
ManyChat is good at the conversation: it answers a comment in seconds, at 2am, in the DM. What it does not do is decide who calls the client, remind them to follow up, or show a manager which leads nobody has touched. In Majlis the lead joins the same pipeline as your Bayut and Property Finder enquiries, with the same response-time tracking and follow-up automation.
Flows that work well for real estate
Comment for details: A reel of a new listing ends with “comment PRICE”. ManyChat DMs everyone who does, asks for their number and budget, and sends the lead to Majlis.
Story replies: Anyone who replies to a story about a launch gets the brochure in the DM and a couple of questions, and lands in your off-plan pipeline.
Instagram ads: Click-to-DM ads start a ManyChat flow instead of a form, and the lead arrives in the pipeline and stage you set for that webhook.
One webhook per channel: Make one webhook for Instagram and another for Facebook Messenger, so each lead carries the right source in your reports.

Does Majlis CRM integrate with ManyChat?
Yes. ManyChat sends each lead to Majlis through an incoming webhook, using ManyChat’s External Request step. The lead lands in the pipeline, stage and owner you choose.
Which ManyChat plan do I need?
External Request is a paid ManyChat feature, on its Pro plan at the time of writing. The webhook itself is included in every Majlis plan.
Why does the flow have to ask for a phone number?
Instagram does not share a person’s phone number or email with ManyChat. Majlis needs one of the two to create the contact and to match someone already in your CRM, so the flow asks for it.
What happens if the person is already in Majlis?
By default they are matched by phone or email and their contact is updated, not duplicated, and a new lead is opened for the enquiry. The webhook can also skip people already in Majlis.
Can leads go to different agents?
Yes. Each webhook sends its leads to one agent, the General Pool, or your lead rotation, which hands them out in turn and moves a lead on if nobody contacts it in time.
Does it work with Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp flows too?
Yes, any ManyChat flow can send an External Request. Make one webhook per channel so each lead carries the right source.
